Hey chaps hoping someone can help with my injector pump ? Ive fitted a second hand engine into my van and theres no glowplug light and it wont even turnover ! I know that the pump on my previous engine has had a wire joined into the wires on the pump to bypass the keycode reader on the immobiliser ! I know what i need to do to join the bypassed wire onto the pump but its the cover on the pump thats the problem . Its sat right where the injector pipes come out of the pump but theres no sign as to how i remove it , any ideas ????

 

fella they use snap off bolts if u look carefully they have something that looks a bit like a rivet with a pyramid head its a bolt fella use a centre punch to tap them round then unscrew them hope this helps its a bastard but u can do it i got the same in my mk5 turbo diesel cab if u one of the lucky ones u will own an automatic centre punch it makes it far easier
