Default Help! My van won't start!

I turn the key two clicks, the pulgs light up and the electronics (radio, lights etc) all work. Turn the third click to start and nothing happens. The radio drops out as explected, but the starter motor does not come in.

So far I have tested the live feed to the motor/solenoid, that's a healthy 12.4v, starter relay (on interior fuseboard) which operates correctly, and replaced the starter motor/solenoid assembly with a new one.

Any ideas what else could be stopping it?

Any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks in advance...

I should probably have said, when I turn the key to the third click, the starter relay does not activate. Also it is a brand new motor and solenoid, so I hope it doesn't need hitting with a hammer.

Thanks for your help though Joe, any other ideas?

Also forgot to add, it bump starts fine and runs perfectly after then. Ideally I don't want to have to park on a hill for the rest of forever though

The engine block and gearbox both bell out to the negative terminal on the battery. The relay which pulls in the solenoid and starts the motor does not activate when the ignition switch is turned. Any ideas what might cause this? The relay works fine on the bench.

Took it up to the local garage, they found it to be the fuseboard PCB that had popped! Replaced, its all working fine now
