turning up boost? older 1.8 td

howdy? can anyone give me details on how to do this on a turbo diesel sierra? i have an idea how to turn up the diesel pump, wanna sort the turbo as well?

someone please? turned up fuel delivery and shortened actuator rod, how far should i go?

just pull the actuator pipe off, that should do the trick
