Default RS2000 no spark

Hi there fellas i just wondered if anyone can help .... My RS2000 has just decided not to fire when i tried to start it ! The last time it started it was reluctant to fire but after about 15 secs it started , but now no spark ! I know that the coilpacks are a common fault on these but i didnt think they'd both give up at the same time ! Any ideas chaps ???

the rs2000 mk5/6 also suffer from bad fuse box loom issues!

hey would check over the condition of youre wiring going to the coil packs as this is very common for them to fail due to the heat under the bonnet, i would check that first, cheers

Ok mate thanks i, 'll test to see if theres power going to the coilpacks after work 2moro ! If theres power there , then id of thought there was a fault with them ! Or maybe they're ok and ive got a completely different fault altogether !
