MSD direct fire kit...
Peeps,
I've got a feeling that sooner or later i'm going to need to fit
a waisted spark kit onto my L8 Pectel super 8 ecu.
Does the eeprom have to modified or can i just fit the wires
inside the ecu?.
I take it that the Phase sensor remains untouched?
More info?

As it's staying sequential injection there needs to be a phase sensor, on engine somewhere simplest is to just keep the dizzy for this and the pump drive.
On mine I cut a piece of ply in a round shape that just fitted inside the outer pressed tin bit that surrounds the dizzy body, and painted it black!!
Had to cut the end of the shaft to get it to fit.

Thanks tabs,
Regarding the end cover, you could also fit the metal cover fitted
to the Fiat coupč 16v turbo's phase sensor housing as it was fitted with P8 and coil on plugs originally.

My dizzies coming off anyway, and using 1 from jackshaft pulley, fortunately with mine it doesn't need to be in any particular place so long as it gives a 1/2 engine speed reading, to initiate sequential running, there's no lining up to be done.
