Default how do i install a boost gauge ?

man this site is big

anyhow my best mate a bought himself a s2 erst, nice car i should say so myself.
any way he has a hks dump valve on it. he also has a gauge that he would like to install.
can some1 help me out on how to plumb this in please.

a few pictures would be great if any1 has any to hand.

ie the gauge has a nozzle on the back of it, where is this plumbed into ?

from the inlet to the gauge is it ?

Yes if it's a boost gauge, it's from a inlet source, a T piece will be fine.

right had a look at mates engine and the left side of the inlet (top bit) has a nail in that is monkey tie up.
the right side goes to the d/v with the a t piece to behind the heater motor. maybe to the ecu.?

my question is the side with the screw in, can i use that to the gauge ?

The 1 behind the heater motor will indeed be for the ecu, try not to use that one.
You can use any other that is between the throttle plate and the engine, even if it needs t'ing to do so.
