What i would do is sell the seperator you have, change the air box/filter for a cone filter and get a bailey mirror image seperator.

what you need is the oil breather system from spec-r,the seperator sits between your battery and the head and there is a catch tank that will go were your airbox is,you would need to remove the airbox and fit a cone filter check there web site picture of a cosworth engine bay

Jep I know the spec-r breather system - looks really nice but is quite expensive

I have talked my mate and came to the conclusion that I should fit a breather system like his:
http://cossie.tkrath.dk/grafik/coswo...4x4.rene06.jpg

I will make a hole in the cover (which he hasn't on his) + use the std. breather hole from the bottom. Where should I fit the return hose?

Thanks

the return hose should go down to a blank plug which you remove on the exhaust side of the block, its down near the sump under #4 exhaust outlet and is pointing upwards at a slight angle, there is another blank on the block above it but thats for the water jacket

I know this engine is from 2wd and mine is a 4wd, but I believe the blank plug can be found on them both? Is it no. 1 og 2 in this picture?

No.2 !
As a rule its better to return the oil into or below the oil level by tapping into the sump , its possible that what you use as a return re-pressurizes the crankcase . on a 4x4 sump there are a couple of places this can be done quite easily !

use no.2, you will need a similar thread fitting as the plug you remove in order to put a pipe down to it and clamp it up,you may also need to put some heat protector on the pipe as it runs close to the exhaust,
