To access the fuel cut off switch in my 52 Mondeo Haynes says "Remove the left hand side front trim panel". This panel reaches from the footwell to the rear seat and seems securely fixed. Can anyone tel me how to remove it?

 

u sure its not the one directly under the dash on the left as far as u can go forwards????
usually a small finger hole/access hole for the inetia swith there, for ease of resetting?!

 

I have located the finger hole for resetting the switch. It is in the panel which runs from the front to the back of the passenger compartment. I could get a screwdriver under it and lever away but might do more harm than good

 

The trim panel comes out easy enough if there is not enough room.
