Thought about this idea when my brother woz considering swapping his vtr engine for a vts.

Iv got a 1.8 zetec blacktop focus at the moment and just wondering if it was worth swapping the engine. Can get engine and it fitted for cheaper than buyin a 2.0 focus plus i wanna keep my car.

Jus wondered wot the main differences wit the engines were (or is it just the engine size?) and if i wud need anythin else (gearbox etc) to make it fit? Or wud it be easier to jus swap parts over from the 2.0? i no on the silvertop zetecs if u swap cams/maf/tb over u get power increase but are the cams etc in a blacktop any different?

Jus thinkin it will give me a bit more power as std on top of mods i av got and it wud work out cheaper than me buyin kent cams (unless i get sum 2nd hand)

Any suggestions or opinions??
