Default 4x4 saph

Car is driving on kangaroo juice when tank gets to 1/4 full, is this normal.
Or is it fuel pump/tank?
Pump also sounds noisy when idling with less than half a tank?

Is there a way to stop the engine smells coming into the cabin, my 3dr does the same thing. I was thinking of trying to get fresh air from front of engine bay??
Any ideas?

Cheers

mine coughs and splutters with less than 1/4 tank too.

The pump will always make a buzzing noise. they all do that.

As for smells coming into cabin, its the smell of turbo (oily petroly smell) and the only way u will stop it is by either driving slower or re routing the air intake (which is just below the windscreen)

Personally i like the 'turbo' smell.

Cheers,
I think I'll try and get some fresh air from the front or vent it better to the grill under the wipers
