help needed! engine wants to die when braking

as mentioned above when i press the brakes the engine want to cut out, any ideas why???

engine running too lean and air from servo is making it more lean causing a stall?
that's all i can think of.

what car? but more than likely one of the pipes that goes to the servo/inlet is faulty!

Could be split diaphragm in servo, but most likely a dicky one way valve jammed open(in vac pipe), just disconnect the servo vac pipe and try, remember the brakes will be harder to push though.
