Default 2wd saff questions

Hi folks,

just brought a 2wd saphire cosworth thats been sitting up for around 5 years, only time its been run is to get it on a trailer and off again to shift it about. never been driven anywhere etc. I am picking it up next saturday, but im wanting to get the fuelling checked before i take it home to shetland as we dont have a rolling road set up up here, thing is will it damage the car after it sitting so long to just let a tuner roast it on a RR or would it be best to wait till its done a few miles before i get it done? any advice would be greatly appreciatted

thanks

As said defo a COMPLETE service from top to bottom first, inc fuel filter change, pump voltage check, or better rewire, along with fan rewire, using gently will do no harm, to loosen up while you service it, don't forget belt/tensioner change, and drain old fuel, out.

Lots of minor detail differences, but mostly just the obvious mechanical ones, the bulkhead is thicker material on the 4wd shell, so I'm led to believe, never measured myself, front cross member is totally different, 200 block(in 4wd) is much stronger/stiffer, cooling system different.
