just after some advice i think my fuel pump has gone or my injectors. the car starts and runs fine a soon as i drive it its slugglish and pours black smoke out the exhaust you can accelerate through it but still down on power if you hold it at a constant speed the car surges as if fuell problem

try a new air filter. if its not been changed fora while they clog up with shite and cause such issues

changed the air filter and fuel filter im starting to think i have a split in an intercooler pipe seems only to happen when under load or when turbo coming in

Ypu have to look at you boost hoses from and to the intercooler. The hose that is located at the steeringpump (right side of the car when you stand for the car) they breake sometimes. yuo can get a repair kit for it at ford.

it wont be a split injector pipe because it would not run at all

yeah id say boost pipe split.normally on mondeos its the pipe from the egr valve which is left side of engine that goes down to intercooler,it splits on the bend or the small boost pipe under the turbo at the back.that would definately give those symptoms
