you will have to change to a 2.0 zetec flywheel then make sure you get the cps and the bracket it mounts in. thease will work fine on ofab

I have just bought the box, subframe, driveshafts and everything else i need to do the conversion. Apart from the clutch from a mk5 rs2000. I was thinking about the focus box but the cable gear linkages put me off as i would'nt have a clue how to fit it.

a good zetec turbo will piss 300hp and 300ftlbs and the rs2000 paddles are only rated to just over 200ftlb .

With mtx box I would use everything of the 2,0 zetec flywheel and 240 mm clutch (get ap paddle kit for it and you will be laughing)

Cheers mate, What clutch do i need to buy for use with the 2.0 zetec flywheel, Ive looked on ap's website but they dont do one for an mk5 escort rs2000. Are there any other clutches that will fit, What about a cosworth clutch?

I'm surprised no-body's mentioned that using 240mm clutch meant for a FRS doesn't fit in a cable release MTX. Although the 2.0l Zetec flywheel has been the same since '92 and will take a 240mm clutch, the normal road clutch is 228mm.

ZF Sachs do a 240mm clutch for the 2.0 Zetec/ST225 in organic and cerametal/paddle. Seem to remember had quite good ratings. Also the cover was pressed steel rather than the bulky alloy of AP, though that might have been a generic illustration.
