Default Adjusting fuel pressure. Air to Fuel ratio 11.2.

I plumbed in my wideband Air Fuel guage and my car is running and AFR of 11.2 so rather rich as its supposed to be around 14.7-15. I knew this already because it stinks of fuel and have black smoke comming out of the exhuast.

Is it just a question of adjusting the FPR to get the AFR correct?

When the car warmed up it went up to about 13 but when revved to about 3k it shot up to 18?

If you low the pressure ALL those readings will go up (including the 18), if you raise the pressure ALL those readings will go down (including the 11).

So obviously you CANT get it correct using just fuel pressure if the chip is wrong.

The most important reading is the one it makes on full boost, as that is when its most likely to melt or lose power if it is wrong.

When I removed the pugs, 1 and 4 were black after about 30 seconds of running, and 2 and 3 were wet If that helps.

I take it its not safe to drive anywhere like oddkidd creations to have it chipped andset up?

What car is it? tbh to me that would indicate a wiring/ecu/sensor fault as plugs are different

with the plug issue you have described theres deffo a fault there and as chip has said fueling needs to be checked on full boost and in the low 11's is safe

As for idle unless its running closed loop you will not get near to 14 and fuel pressure should be as the chip states which is normally 3.0 to 3.5 bar
