Default Fuse box on ERST

Can soomeone give me a rough guide as to how you remove the fuse box from the bulk head on and ERST please. Im planning on fitting a repair panel so need it removed.

Thanks for any help.

Lift the electrical internals out of the casing and you will find two or three screws. Then disconnect every loom connector from inside (not fun, I know) and pull the loom out to the engine bay side.

I wouldn't weld it with the dash in bud, if the heat gets through to the sound deadening behind it might not be too fun.

As said, just 3 screws to unscrew the fuse box then pull loom into engine bay cut out rust and weld new panel in

Not too bad, take a look, theres about 8-10 bolts around the main dash, then the centre console bolts.
The loom might be a bit of a PITA though.

If you're not sure pick up a haynes manual, got all the bolts you need to remove on there i'd imagine, also useful to have about for torque settings etc.
