Default 2wd idle problem

I've just bought a 2wd saff cossie and has one small issue when i start it it will idle perfectly no missing or hunting at all but when i pull away and come to a stop or push the clutch down the revs drop really low(some times cuts out) and then rev up and settle and it will then idle again perfectly until i pull away and come to a stop again.

is this an air leak problem or should i clean out the iscv??

any pointers would be great.

cheers,
Phil

Check your CO, sounds as though it may be a bit lean, the fact that the idle speed changes says the valve is working ok, also may want to check your base idle when hot.
