Hi all, hopefully im not going to be too much bother, anyway im looking to build a kit car from a sierra and need some advice on the best engine to pick for tuning or tuning advice for 1.8cvh.

This has to be tuning on a budget, and unless i can be convinced otherwise normally aspirated.

What sort of power are people getting out of N/A 1.8CVH engines???
What are there good points/bad points?
Anyone supercharged one?

in all honesty; i wouldnt bother trying to tune a 1.8 - it would cost too much to get anything worthwhile out of it; far more capable engine out there

 

As above, think it would be a cheap s/h pinto sitting in the bay if it were mine, far less expensive to tune, far better to tune, especially on a budget.
