hi wounderd if any 1 cud help i recently took my car 2 a local garage who "aparently" knew alot about the injection systems on s1's as it wouldnt idle.
i hav since had it bak and idles fine but now wont start imediatly afer being turned off? this only hapens wen the car is warm tho its starts first time from cold? it means now if iam going to turn th car off i ahve 2 wait at least 15 20 minutes for th car 2 start again? any ideas how to rectifie this myself as dont rely wont to take it bak ther and dont has a rs specialist near by.
also now as th car wont start wen hot a hav been leavin th car idleing alot and hav noticed a small amount of blue smoke but only wen it has been idleing for long periods of time? is this more likely a tired turbo or stem seals as the engine has no suspicious noises comin from it?
any help would be appreciated thanks!

 

I would check the basics like CO at idle and the ignition timing first.
