Default cosworth starting problems

hi i've just done an engine rebuild on my sierra sapphire 2wd. i have put the engine back in but there is no spark at the spark plugs? thought it may have been the coil but tested the coil and it has a good spark. changed the dizzy cap and rotor arm still no spark. can anyone help me? i have put brand new motorsport leads on the car aswell.

sensor in the distributor. think its called a phase sensor. there cheap to.

Do you have a pump prime when you first switch on first thing of the day ?
If yes you know you are getting a cps signal, if not look at this, I think it is possible to accidentally mix up the cps and dizzy terminal connectors, especially if connector on cps has been changed to black, can't remember if both side were white or just the connector side and not the loom side.
I would just go through everything and recheck bound to be something daft and silly that you will slap yourself for when you see it!!
