Default Sierra module???????

Does anybody know where the module is that controls the low fuel and washer fluid lights on a sapphire cosworth? the wiring diagrams do show one between the switches and the warning lights.

Would imagine it would be the AWS module (Not the bulb failure module)

Yup, also controls the door ajar and ice warning display. Lives on the passenger side footwell behind the lower dash.

I thought that the low fuel and low washer fluid lights were simply switched by the relevant sender, either in the fuel tank or washer bottle, and that there isn't a "control module" required for them

Disconnect yours and see if the fuel light comes on

The old Mk1 Ghias had a similar, but more comprehensive display that was all controlled by the same module - oil level, coolant level, brake level, as well as fuel and washer level. The Mk2 Sierra's one is very much cut down.

If you take to panel out above the glove box there is the control unit which is for the warning display.Im sure it doesnt do the fuel light and washer jet low lights.
