FRST Gearbox?????
Can anyone tell what the following codes stamped on gearbox casings mean?
87TT-7F096 AB II/1
&
87TT-7F096 AB XII/3
What are the differences in these boxes if any + would any of them suit a FRST???
What about ratios?

Just checked my spare box , it has 87TT-7F096 BB I/4 , think this is just the casing no , you need to look at the aluminium tag on the back of the box and see what that says , but as a lot of FRST boxes have been rebuild would say the only sure way would be to strip box and do a teath count .
