Default Ford puma headgasket

Hi ya pf me headgasket has just gone on my ford puma and my mates quoted me £300 what you guys think of the price and is there any 1 in southampton thats a mechanic

Just checked on the Ford Etis website , Puma head is a 5.8 hour job to remove and refit ....... so after cleaning everything it is going to be 6 hours , guess £300 aint bad at that .

tremona garage has one of the best reputations around. £300 aint too bad.

Thanks guys but found out it wasnt me headgasket in the end it could be my heater sensor thought might be gasket as heater was bearley warm yesterday
