Default no spark on efi

im still having problems with my xrt, it isnt getting a spark and the fuel pump wont run whilst cranking.
when you back off the ignition after cranking it sparks.
has anyone ever experienced this or got any ideas what could be causing this?
Its got 12v at the edis, coil and ecu whilst cranking and all earths are present. ive tried 2 coils, 3 edis modules, its got a brand new cps fitted and the continuety of wiring is ok when checked with the meter.
i dont think a trying a new ecu will help matters as it only deals with the fuel side of things so im pretty much stumped!
all ideas welcome and appreciated!

if u have the 12V while cranking, that rules out the barrel, it does sound like the CPS isnt picking up the cranking, but u have replaced it, umm, have u checked the resistence at the cps wireing where it joins the loom?would try ECU, but seems a wierd one!!

if i un plug the edis and put my meter across pin 5 and 6 i get around 80 ohms and as you turn the engine over the resistance fluctuates. ive read you should also get 3-4v on these two wires whilst cranking but im unsure if the edis has to be plugged in whilst checking for the voltage? im gonna try poking sum wire into the pins on edis and try it plugged in today i think.

found the problem. the cps plug had been replaced before i bought the loom and they had wired the plug the wrong way round!
