Group A Escort MK 3
Hello people,
I'm coming from Holland and want to make a replica of a Group A Escort MK3.
There isn’t a lot information knowing in Holland so I hope I can asked you some questions and hoping you will be willing and able to help me.
- Group A suspension (complet front and rear) is it availably and where, maybe second hand?
- The box inside the spare tire bay where the fuel pumps are in, is it still available maybe second hand?
- The sub frame of the RS 1600 I does anybody have it for sale?
- The complete spoiler kit of a RS Turbo S1, does anybody have it fore sale?
- And further I would love any information about the Group A Escort MK 3. And thank you already fore al reactions.
Also I’m looking for a guy named Phil I don’t now his second name.
I traded a lot of XR / RS and Cosworth parts 18 years ago whit him.
He came from the area of Birmingham and trades under the name of RS MANIA.
He also had a friend who came to the European Ford Event whit a fiesta whit a rover engine in it and one time whit something like a Bentley.

In The Netherlands are atleast 2 Group A MK3 RS Turbo's. One for rallying (needs to be restored) and one ex DTM touringcar. The ex DTM (the DTM was called DRM back then) car has all the original parts on it except the gearbox and the fuel tank etc.
This is the ex DTM car now:





And here it is when it was entered by the Bernhard Grab team and drivin by Beate Nodes and lateron sold to Mohag Motorsport and the driver then was Traudl Klink.


Sadly Beate Nodes passed away in october 2008.
If wanted I can post the Performance-Ford item on this car too.
This is the ex rallycar now:






And here are some old pics when the car was drivin by Stig Andervang & André Schoonenwolf.







Then the car was drivin by Theo Knoop & Paul Boesten.

Then the car was sold to somebody called mr de Werd and he seemed to race it in the UK at the Lydden Hill track, anybody got more info on this?

Think I got even bigger versions of the jpg's at home, it's not really readable now
Parts are almost impossible to get, in the years the current owner has the white car (since 2003 I think) he never found a 909 (motorsport) gearbox. The only way to get as much parts as possible is to buy a genuine motorsport S1.

I would love to have them so I can read the article.
Concerning the parts, I think it is already very difficult to find a motorsport S1. And then you have to find it for the right price
But if you have any tips i like to now them

The only tip I can give you is keep you eyes open 
Look at websites that sell ex-race or rally cars and maybe one will pop up someday.
