Garret hybrid T4 problems...
Allrite guys,
I bought a ex Tommy field built Garret T4 ball bearing off eBay last week but i've run into a few problems whilst trying to fit it.
The ball bearing center catridge has different sized banjo bolts compared to a normal T3,T3/4 etc,the holes are bigger so i'm stuffed,were the hell can i get the banjo bolts from(i don't even know what size or pitch thread...
).
The second problem regards the oil inlet into the turbo,as far as i remember the Garrets fitted to Cosworths had the thread of 1/8 BSP(?).this ball bearing T4 has a Metric(?) 11-1 thread.once again,were the fuk am i gonna get an adaptor from?.
Unfortunatly the original seller stated that no pipes were included in the auction,ok but he then stated that the original Cosworth pipes will fit,obviously not.
Any advice most welcom
