Default central locking fitment, S2 ERST

ok, my s2 is a converted 1.3 pop, and when it was 1st built, i didnt bother with the central locking, leccy windows etc, so was never an issue

but now iv delocked the doors, i need central locking. still dont want the leccy windows, just the central locking

now i have an rs loom fitted, but people tell me there shud be something like 3 plugs down by each speaker pod for the door looms to plug into. my loom is laid in the car, and i have literally nothing except a door switch wire going to the passenger side, a couple of random plugs drivers side, but basically nothing like im told i should have. and yet theres no obvious cuts to the loom either, so not like anything has been crudely removed.

does it all operate off a sub-loom, plugged in somehwere, and then branching off down to each footwell area?

if so, anybody know where this sub-loom would plug in exactly? im guessing the couple of plugs i can see spare in my loom, but thats pure guess

if this isnt the case, isnt an option, blah blah, how would i go about wiring this up myself? just central locking like. i have the motors and stuff for the doors, just no wiring to speak of.

any help would be massively appreciated, as im holding off fitting my dash until its resolved

ps, i also need this to link to my clifford concept 100 alarm system, but 1 step at a time

sub loom plugs in around the dash clocks on the bulk head iirc. if you get the full central locking loom you'll find a matching plug somewhere. u need the door looms as well btw

more than likely was me not traded in rs bits for nearly 3 years now. only got bits for my cossie left.
orion ghia loom will also fit. or you could make your own if you can follow the wiring diagram in a haynes manual. only needs a + & - connection

this whole sub-loom would make sense, as i have 1 or 2 plugs on the bulkhead near my steering column that have no purpose that i can see, and absolutely nothing by the doors. it is all becoming clear now lol

hopefully will try and grab hold of a loom n separate all the bits i need to add to mine. if not, like u say, i guess i will have to try and wire up the central locking myself with sum haynes help, oh joy

and if u remember somebody turning up in a bright pink bloody nova to pick up the engine n stuff, n havin to make 2 trips cos the nova wudnt move with it all in 1, then yes it was me would have been around april 2005
