Cant see a spacer doing much to be honest. The restricting factor on a 2wd plenum is the elbow so you would be better off putting a 4x4 or a Escos one on.

If you're at Stage 3, I presume you're talking Green injectors and T3 or T34, and you wanted to spend more money for more power, you'd be better going to Grey injectors and different chip (or Siemens injectors etc.).

You get my drift I hope.

Probably best you start by saying what your spec is at the moment.

for the gain of BHP per £££ it isnt worth it in my opinion

if you do fit a spacer, you will alter air flow which will affect fuelling - therefore you'll need a new chip

you cant just fit a new spacer and get more power.

a 4x4 inlet is better than a 2wd and a small turbo escort cossie inlet is by far the best standard inlet on any cossie - but good look finding one, they are not easy to come by and they cost a fair bit

yes a 4x4 will filt no problem - however you will probably need a new chip or at least need to get the fuelling checked on wideband as you will alter the air your engine will flow

if you just fit a new 4x4 inlet without getting it checked/ set up, you'll risk blowing up your motor

The RS 500 inlet is the best standard fit one out there
