I am fitting cologne 2.9i 12v from a late granada scorpio. Need help with the wiring. I have complete engine loom and relay box. Lamber sensors, maf sensor. Any help with which wires need connecting from the 2 multiplugs would be grateful.

what do they do (all from ecu)
pin 19 - black & green
pin 15 - blue & brown
pin 34 - brown & yellow & 2 white squares
pin 21 - brown & white
pin 53 - brown & red
pin 3 - yellow & thin brown stripe
pin 10 - black & yellow
pin 30 - brown & white

what to do with white plug from fuse box

brown & 2 green squares goto pin 40 on ecu
brown goto pin 60 ecu
brown & green with 2 white squares goto pin 54 ecu
red & blue goto pin 22 ecu
blue & black goto pin 1 ecu
black goto pin 37 ecu
black & 2 yellow squares goto pin 57 ecu

from the engine plug
where do they go

pin 9 - brown and white
pin 12 - brown and green

black plug from the fuse box

black with 2 green & 2 white squares runs to pin 3 dizzy plug
black with 2 white squares run to + side of the coil

green plug from fuse box


black goto pin 3 on engine plug
red & black goto a lamber sensor plug
red & black with 2 white squares goto a lamber sensor plug

unknown plug

black & green wire from 2 knknown plugs goes to pin 4 on the dizzy plug
green going into the coil leads

your problems start with the fact that you've got the cat loom from the facelift cars

then you've got the hydraulic lifter engine, so it might benifit from a hot cam right from the off

i think i've got the diagrams kicking about somehwere, i'll see if i can scan them for you

yup, know the one, can't see the pics but as soon as you said "hite plugs" i knew what you were talking baout

get the fusebox and plug everything in, it's all very basic as it's all there, all you need to do is run some power there, there's a wire for the fuel pump and one for ignition live feed to the ecu and one for the rev counter

you only need the fusebox on the passenger side, the long one with 3 rows of fuses in it

hi just wondering if any one knows i have a 2.9 12v and wiring in a megasquirt 1 v3 at the mo the only problem i have is there is 1 wire that comes from the ecu that sheethes into 2 that goes to my dizzy what wires do i need to connect them to,theres 5-6 wires on the dizzy so a bit stuck

hi all got my mgasquirt all wired up but i seem to be having another problem everything works fine the fuel pump kicking in with the ecu i have spark etc etc the only think i dont have is injector pulse on turning over i get 1 squirt when i turn the key off any 1 got any ideas,also does any 1 know what the wires on the tfi module actualy do i have
