Help with Clifford Concept 50
I have a Clifford Concept 50 fitted to my Mk6 RS2000 and to be honest, its being a right PITA.
At the moment the car wont start unless its on jump leads. Without jump leads, all that is working is the alarm itself and the central locking.
Without the jump leads the dash lights are illuminated still but do not dim when attempting to start (indicating a flat battery), the electric windows wont open either. IIRC it wont turn over, the key just turns with nothing.
Now i'm hoping that simply a new battery is needed. It seems wierd that it will start with jump leads but not at all without. I'm assuming the imobiliser isnt causing it as surely it woulnt start with the jump leads on.
Confused
Any Clifford veterans out there care to help?

The Concept 50 doesn't like low battery voltage, even when there seemed to be a reasonable voltage my old one used to activate the immobiliser. A healthy battery and alternator will keep it happy
Nope, battery is fine! almost new and fully charged! done a drop test on the battery aswell, and hold charge fine. Its somethink to do with the alarm, now can't even start with a jump start??
I'm chris's brother by the way.
