Question 1.8 zetec carbs

would there be even the slightest chance of gettin my rs1800 through an mot with twin carbs on it? we r talkin about an 130ps 1.8 zetec just been freshly rebuilt to totally standard spec with uprated head gasket and rod bolts with a brand new cat, and the carbs with 5 progression holes specifically for the zetec. surely theres gotta be a way?
would 40's be more environmentally friendly than 45's

ps i know every1 is gonna say use tb's instead but its too easy for an individual as complicated as myself. i wanna at least try and do everything the hard way

if you get the carbs set up properly, and its got a new cat it should be ok just to get it mot'd. you might have to sort the fuel mixture out before you take it,

if you get it running ,you need to make sure the mixture is not rich,as unburnt fuel will quickly kill off your new cat.
