hi every1, just a qwick question, ive got a s2 rs turbo. just dun the head gasket, new turbo, servise and clean everyfink else up. the first nite i took it out it woz running fine for a cuple of hours, wasnt letting it boost up.then my oil light woz flashing at low revs (over 2thow it wnet awy) it got a bit hot so let it cool down. went to start it 15mins later. it woz very tappy. i ashume low oil presser??? wat should i try first (cheapest lol) sorry bout the spelling

has it got the correct ammount and grade of oil ?
oil pressure switch could be faulty

 

As said check oil level, then if ok I would be taking the sump off to inspect the oil pick up for debris crap stopping it pick up, if not a knackered pump it will be chronic wear.

cheers , ill av a look. also ive got a mocal oil cooler on it. does that make a diffeance in how much oil i should have in it? wne its not running? thanx mike
