Default I dropped a hub today and broke a lug mount

One of the lug mounts for the caliper broke of.. would it be safe to weld back on by a skilled welder ofcause??

Or is it stright in to the metal scrap ??

Not that it matter.. but its from/for a cosworth

Its a bit risky, i wouldnt take the gamble really with something as important as brakes

Was affraid I would get that answer.... as it is cast iron. Just hoped that someone might have tried it as the hub dont get heated and cooled seriously like a manifold, AND the brakes kind of "pulls" rather than wrigles the lugs.

I nearly began crying

Can be done easy enough, but as said too risky, especially as they are shit castings to start with.
