Default head gasket???

once a head gasket has been crushed between head and the block is it unusible now if i wnted to swop my head over....it has never been upto running tempature .i cant afort a new one
persanaly i would say no but have u ever reused a gasket

Yeah I have on an rst engine as it'd only ran for 1min. Worked fine for me but still changed it after prob 1000 miles after further mods.

So I guess you take a chance. Obviously you have to renew the stretch head bolts though...

just use all the old bits untill she is running spot on,then put new bolts and gasket in as will only take about 4 hours to do, or just wait till it blows.....maybe..
