i am looking for a new turbo and have been told that a gt3071 garrett with a .82 exhaust would be good for what i need.

i have found this map and have found i need 48.42 lb/min of air to hit 400bhp, i ideally want to run 2bar boost, or that region,
its for a high spec zetec turbo that i want 400bhp or over really (say 450 max) the map says ''56 trim'' does this mean .56 ex housing or...? would a gt3071 with .82 be suitable for 450bhp?

That turbo will flow around 480hp max.

I believe the "trim" number is related to the difference in size between the two types of vane on the turbo wheel, the inducer and exducer.
