Refurbing wheels?
Well i got some 3door cosworth alloys last night and they are a little tatty, the laquer has peeled and let crap get to the alluminium, now i watch this video of ed china doing a refurb on some mr2 alloys with same problem as mine:
YouTube - Wheeler Dealers Toyota MR2 part 5
Its the first attempt at this and aint too sure as the vid is pretty breif, questions are:
1. What grinder bit did he use? i know he said tuff wire brush but wont that damage the alloy? can someone find me one on ebay that will be upto the job please, ive looked but there are soo many types and lots of them look as tho they would just take huge bites into my wheels..
2. Grinding paste he used to buff up? what is suitable, again if someone could find some on ebay id be more then thankful
Ill get some pics up of my wheels in a little while:thumbs:
Thanks
Corey

Had a go anyway, using a rough Rubber drill end which is twisted like the brass and wire brush ones but leaves less scratches, the wheels arnt perfect as im well aware but i dont think a 30min go done to bad.......Just 3 and a half more to go lol
