it only ever does it in 5th gear when i put my foot right down at about 2k rpm it idles perfect starts fines and it pulls great all the way up the range if you floor it in second it will fly up the rev counter unless its wet it just spins will it be ok cheers in advance all

 

Do you mean boost cut?

If its boosting ok in 1st and second and sometimes 3rd and cuts in 4th and 5th, It means you are running too much boost for the standard ecu if its not chipped.

yeah thats what its doing but it holds boost in 4th an 5th if at higher revs

 

It will do mate, I had the same problem before, Just turn down the boost or get it chipped and set up.
