Angry Stage4?? Cossie miss fire

Just done a head job on a 3 ddor cossie, 16 new valves, new dizzy cap , new leads, plugs, rotor arm.......

The car starts off the key no bother. Valve timing is 100% spot on. Compression is around 130/ 140 across all 4 cylinders and the spark is very very good.

The car is reaking black suit out the exhaust asif it is overfueling and missfires quite badly, put new plugs in it and take them out after only a few seconds running and they are suited up jet black. Tops of the pistons are wet with fuel too.

Its got t38 turbo on it and grey injectors. Is this correct?

Any help appreciated. Its doing my head in!!!

Good chance you have broken the pipe ff the map sensor or forgot to plug the CTS back in.

CTS = colent temp sensor. it would not have run very well if it did not have a map sensor its got a 3/4 pin sensor with a take off pipe that connects to the inlet

Right thats cool... See the two pipes...one from actuator and one from turbo, they go to amal valve but that still leaves a pipe missing from it. Any ideas anyone?

When I started the new engine in my 4x4 for the first time after the re-build it was running rough, checked the cts and all looked ok but after taking a few meter readings from the ecu I found that it was at fault! on closer inspection (peeling the rubber boot and wires back) i found one of the wires had broken when i took the loom off.

Check CAREFULLY the phase alignment, if it is not with the scribe mark dead in line with the rotor arm it will overfuel massively, only needs to be one notch out to do it, may just need a slight turn of the dizzy and all will be well.
