Default 1.3 pop to xr3i clocks

am i right in thinking all the wireing is the same and the green just goes to the coil. fiting some xr3i clocks in my mates 1.3 popular plugs are diffrent but i know green is the coil wire, so are all the other wires the same on the 3i clock as 1.3 clocks

No they are different, you either need to chop n change all the wires as the plugs are different or get the clocks from a 1.3 Eclispe (1.3 but with a rev counter)!

The eclipse clocks go straight onto the loom that is in the 1.3 so no need to cut the wires up, think you may need to put the rev counter wire to the coil though???? I have never done it but just know of people who have!

i seem to remember tryin to make xr3i clocks run in my 1.3 pop, tried to run a feed off the coil, and ended up with the rev counter reading double, or something along those lines, defo didnt work anyways lol. and was told was plenty of work to make them function right, so i stuck with my 12hr clock
