Cossie noob questions
Hi all, just wondering, what boost do standard saph 4x4's run? I think mine is pretty standard holding 9psi, what boost pressures do they run at different stages? Can they run stage 3 dark greens etc on a standard turbo? And lastly, my last cos, a 2wd was running a T34 and stage 3, the sound of the car was completly different to my current car it sounded awesome, loud and harsh, this one has a similar exh' system yet sounds quiet, pretty similar to any other sierra ive herd, all be it with a little wastegate chatter, is this due to the turbos?
Old car was a 89 2wd 350bhp stage 3, current is 90 4x4 standard.
Sorry for the daft questions

Boost is 0.8 - 0.9 Bar, 11.60304 - 13.05342 PSI, this is what the specs say for the 4wd, the 2wd run 0.7 bar, 10.15266 psi.
As a rough rule stage 1 is around 14 psi, nearly 1 bar(1 bar = 14.5038psi), a stage 3 can run with std turbo and dark greens 0 280 150 803 injectors, but turbo will be limting factor for bhp.
As for the sound are you runing a std airbox now but a cone filter before on the 2wd ?
Exhausts have got quieter due to legislation though as theyears gone by, maybe the
2wd was a older system ?

Thanks for that info, you could be right with the spec of the exhaust, both run pretty similar scorpion systems and the 2wd booms compared to my 4x4 (my mate owns my old one now) although the 2wd has a large cone filter and the 4x4 runs a standard air box, i would imagine it will only sound different when driving,
