Fiesta RS / XR gearbox & Gear ratios?
Hi,
I am in the process of trying to build a close ratio gearbox for my other halfs race fiesta.
It currently runs a CTS stage 2 box with 15" wheels. The ratios are standard rs turbo's as as far as I know.
Im a told that a Fiesta RS1800 gearbox has a closer ratio gear set than any of the other standard ford boxes. Is this the case or are all Fiesta RS turbo's and XR2I 16v boxes the same?
Im pulling my hair out trying to find a RS1800 box and it would make life simple if I could use an XR2I 16v box.
Or even better if any one has a quaife straight box for sale??
