could anybody help me please,im having trouble getting new shell bearings, ive bought a 1.6cvh turbo block bored out to a 1.9 by power engineering. ive bin in touch with there surplier and he cant seem to get the oversize 1s i need.

0.4mm is the size on them,but i could bring them to you to look at as im not far from you.

Are you after mains and B/E bearings? And are you saying that the crank has been ground to 0.4mm undersize or the bearing housings have been machined 0.4mm bigger?

it is the ones between the crank shaft and block, everywhere is saying they are obsolete,

ive bin told the best thing to do is to get a standard bottom end and have it bored out to suit my pistons,

So its the main bearings you are after. I know it says 0.4mm but is this reffering to the internal diameter of the bearings or the outside?

Reason i ask is that if is refering to the internal, then all you need to do is get the crank ground to -0.5mm. If its referring to the outside diameter then yes its easier to get another block.
