Default problems fitting stem seals

ive fitted the new seals but was wondering when i fit the nuts on the rockers if i use the old ones will they torque down too far as the nuts will be worn so the wrench may cause me to overtighten

No they will be fine as the arm is not not going to compress more.

cheers guys i think ive done it started the car but it was still kicking out oil i run it 4 ten minutes till warm then revved it up and loads of s,,t came out but now it seems ok no oil coming out.i assume the oil was what may have been in exhaust but now its all out
