Default Block difference?

Just discovered a 3 inch crack in the bottom end of my rs turbo's engine
however I have a very low mileage xr3i bottom end available.

Does anyone know of any external differences with the xr3i block?

would need to sort a oil feed and return for it other than that im 99% sure there is no other difference in the block. you would obviously need rs turbo pistons not 3i ones

I though that would be the only real difference. Thanks for confirming. Nice one =]
