hi just wounderd if any one could help

i have a focus 1.6 petrol zetec and im for ever puttin bulbs in it
iv tryed changin 2 . they seem to last a bit longer. but still not as long as they should

has any one els had the same problem ?

any help would be gr8

 

Sounds like the alternator is over-charging.

 

Is the filament breaking or are they going black ?

if i dont put a new one in the one that workin now will last for ever and a day
but soon as i replace the the faulty one the other will go

 

i think the filament is breakin but i cant really remember

 

If the bulbs are going black it is usually down to a bad earth, but if broken because of overcharging it would not just blow these.
How much life are you getting ?, ever thought about HID.

im gettin about 2 weeks max out of them

have thought about HIDs but they aint cheap so i dun wana be forking out for them if they not goin 2 last either

 

2 weeks, something is defo wrong, as it is both bulbs the most likely is the current, even if ok when measured it could be spiking, on this car it will almost certainly be ecu controlled so a not so inexpensisive cure if that.
