If it's 180 out just move each plug lead on the cap round two places.

did it spit back when it spluttered ,, try retracing the leads to make sure they are what they are meant to be,,, u didnt try turning the engine over for a long time?? you might have flooded your spark plugs out with too much fuel,

have u
check u got a good spark?

1.get engine to tdc on crank pulley, make sure camshft isn't 180 degrees out.
2. take off dizzy cover where the rotor arm is pointing shud be no1.
3. put leads on in correct firing order ,and rotation of engine/rotor.

give it a go... lol the jap thing is because where i live all the kids diss rs turbos and cossies for unreliability,, what makes me cringe is this '' japs the way forward"
grrrrr.. good luck mate

If the camshaft is 180 out it will be lined up at BDC not TDC.
If 180 out it would make no difference if yo rotated the leads round by two places.
