hi every1 ive cahnged the engine in my car its still a 1.6 cvh i used the complete engine an metering head but it wont idle wen cold but fine wen warm i changed the injector at the bck of the inlet an its still the same?? if sum 1 could give any ideas?? thanks mike

Have you tried adjusting the idle screw when cold? Or unplug the cold start valve, i had a simular problem and it was fine with the cold start valve unplugged.

yeah ive disconnected the cold start still the same wich i thought was strange. thanks for the reply..

there is an auxiliary air valve at the back of the head which adjusts the amount of air when starting the car from cold. when the engine warms up it closes and runs without it.

check its operation or sawp it over.

could be a temp sensor too feeding bogus back to the ecu

or could need the metering head setup.

check for small air leaks form the head too might deal when warm
