I had a simular problem which tuned out to be something to do with the cold start valve so i unplugged it and it was fine after that, Or it may just want a set-up? I know MFI can be a pain.

run some injector cleaner in your petrol to see if that helps. cold starting and poor idling can be caused by many factors, I had a bit of a valve missing which caused this problem.

Try starting the car with the metering head flap pressed down slightly, it might need the metering head setup!
