got a s1 turbo and the head cracked 2 weeks afyer buying it fitted a spare 1 i had , now 3 weeks down the line and it has cracked again in exactly the same place. any ideas wat could be causing this .

over torquing the head down , did you use stretch bolts or ARP stud kit?

 

bolts done up to the recomended setting
