Default Help Please Cossie Cutting Out On Boost

Hi guys,

I have 2wd sapphire that is cutting out when i floor the throttle. It runs perfectly at idle or even below 17 psi. If I accelerate "gently" it will go right up the rev range but when I floor it the engine just cuts out as if I have turned off ignition. After i release the throttle it goes again .If I continue holding down the throttle the boost goes down to 0 and just keeps running with no power and i cannot hear any misfires even just holds back
I went through the following items and still no joy
tried 2 ecu's and chips
co ok
all sensors are new
plug gaps all the way from .65 to mean .30
checked all harness
fuel pump wiring new
earthed ignition
phase set 45 deg atdc with protractor
ik 37 plugs
new leads
fuel pressure checked and rising acc to boost
afr ok
fuel lines checked
new 044 pump and new filter

Most things are checked and new but the fault is not found yet
(spec 7.2 comp ,t34 .63, greys ported 27mm inlets and 25mm exhausts,bd14 inlet cam)
Any help will be most greatly appreciated as i am stuck now with what i am going to check next .

6v?

A PF01 should start at 5v with the throttle closed, and drop to 0.35 fully open.

A PF09 should start at the lowest stable voltage with the throttle closed, then go up towards 5v fully open.

The least it could set is 5.4 volts and .51 volts fully open so its not 100%
but i still beleive that the problem is coming from it as i also tried the car with it unplugged and it has the same symptoms does anybody think that injectors can do this as they are the only things that are not checked

When you said all sensors are new, does that include the TPS, and do you have the right one?

Presumably it was running OK until some point - did the symptoms get worse or just happen all of a sudden?

It also sounds like there might be some sort of vacuum leak if the air pressure drops to 0 with the throttle wide open.

Hi tps is the only sensor not changed pf01 and running l6 ecu
the inlet manifold was checked well for any leaks as well
tried most of the checks
though the boost falling down i think that should be something to do with
reduce of combustion in the cylinders when the fault happens and i assume it reduces the revs in the turbine
by the time being i was talking to a friend of mine here and he said
he had the same problem on an escort and he found some ground that
were not earthed well i checked the ones on the plenum and even soldered new lugs on them i will go through all the other in the engine
bay tonight although i dont know if there are any others that can
effect the managment system apart from those on the plenum and another from the engine to the battery or body will just check to
make sure i have gone through all the thingsInjectors checked as well yesterday and 100% till 5.5 bar

maybe change the TPS if that's the only thing you havent changed, it would then rule out another possability

i replaced all my earths on my cossie with very very thick cable just to be sure i have a very good earth
